Call The Court Office for Hours, Telephone messages left with the Court office are retrieved and answered daily, Monday through Friday.
This Court handles various types of matters including vehicle and traffic, criminal, civil, village ordinance violations, evictions and small claims cases.
The District Attorney's office is responsible for prosecuting all traffic and criminal matters in Onondaga County. The Court cannot amend or modify these matters without the written recommendation from the District Attorney's Office. See "Options for Handling a Traffic Ticket" below.
Small Claims:
This Court holds jurisdiction over monetary claims up to $3,000 against someone who lives, works, or has a place of business in the Village of Minoa. You may contact the Court Clerk by telephone for information about commencing a Small Claims case, or to request an informational handbook. There is a filing fee of $10.00 to $15.00 if a case is commenced in Small Claims Court. You may complete the Small Claim information Form below and send it to the Court with your filing fee (certified check or money order) payable to the Minoa Village Court.
