It is my honor and pleasure to serve as your Mayor (2016-present). I was elected to the Village Board in March of 2002 and previously served as Acting Village Justice for ten years (1991-2001).

I have lived in the Village of Minoa since 1967. I've been married to my wife Cynthia since 1981 and have two sons Matthew and Andrew and six grandchildren. I'm retired from United Rentals and able to be a full-time Mayor.

I served eight years on the Board of Managers for the East Area YMCA, the Town of Manlius Critical Response Committee and served twelve years as Fire Commissioner and Deputy Mayor for the Village of Minoa.

I'm a current member of the executive board of the New York Conference of Mayors (NYCOM), Vice President of the Onondaga County Mayors Association, NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and the Onondaga County Community Steering Committee.

In 2002 I was the recipient of the General Douglas MacArthur Youth Award. The award is given by The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the State of New York for exemplary service to the youth of the State of New York. There has only been one other recipient of this award given locally in this area. In 2006 I was the recipient of the George Rees Memorial Award for dedication to the youth of our community. In 2016 I was honored as a recipient on the ESM Wall of Distinction. The ESM Wall of Distinction is to recognize alumni, staff and community members of the ESM School District who serve as role models for today's students and demonstrate the importance of making a contribution to our society, our community or their field of work.

As a life long resident of the Village of Minoa I will work to make sure our Village is a great place to live and raise a family. In my role as Mayor I will continue to work hard and keep the lines of communication open at all times. I welcome your comments, concerns and suggestions on any subject.
