I am very thankful and honored for the opportunity you have given me to serve you as a Village Trustee. I look forward to hearing any suggestions or comments you think will help our community prosper.

I have been a resident of Minoa for 23 years, along with my wife Nancy and daughters Brandy and Cheyenne.

I work as a Transportation Specialist for Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and have thirty - five years of experience in the Transportation Industry. I hold numerous awards and citations with over two million safe miles. In 2000 I was selected as the NYS Motor Truck Association Driver of the Year. I am a member of Trucker Buddy International and I am also involved with the Share the Road Program, which educates Driver Education students how to safely share the road with trucks.

I have been a member of the Village of Minoa Stakeholder Committee (MS4s) for Municipal Separate Storm Water System for the past eight years. I am also a member of the New York Conference of Mayors and the Onondaga County Association of Mayors and Village Officials.

My Village of Minoa responsibilities include: Wastewater Treatment Plant and Cleanwater Education and Research Facility (CERF), Security Camera Systems, Communications, Web-Site, Celebrations, Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Party and Emergency Disaster Preparedness Planner for my Departments.

I’m honored and thankful for the opportunity that the Village of Minoa residents have given me to serve them as a Village Trustee. In the future, I look forward to hearing any comments or suggestions that will help prosper our Village.

My wife Marlene and I have been married for 26 years and have lived in Minoa for the past 24 years at 61 Windebank Lane where we have raised our son Kyle.

I am currently a member of the New York Conference of Mayors and the Onondaga County Association of Mayors and Village Officials.

My Village of Minoa responsibilities include:Department of Public Works (including Garbage Pickup, Disposal and Recycling), Building & Grounds, Historical Society, Golden Age, Comprehensive Plan and Celebrations with Trustee Brazill, Trustee Champagne and Trustee Abbott and Emergency Disaster Preparedness Planner for my Departments.

I am honored to serve as your Trustee. I have been a resident of Minoa for 40 years. I have been a member of the Minoa Fire Dept. since 1976 I started as a junior fireman and became an active full time fireman in 1979, until 1984. I rejoined the fire department again in 1991and served as president, vice president and a member of the Board of Directors for over 15 years. I also have chaired the Field Days, Clambakes and family picnics. I received a Bachelor's Degree from the Culinary Institute of America in 1986. Following completion of my degree I worked in Georgia and Alabama and in 1990 became the Executive Chef at CCR of Rochester, NY. In 1991 I started Abbott's Catering which I still run today. In 1999 Received Live Saving Award from Minoa Fire Dept. for saving a young man's life, 2004 - Presidential Award for Distinguished Volunteer Service from the Town of Manlius PBA, 2006 - Life Member of the Minoa Fire Department, 2010 - Honoree Minoa Fire Department for many years of service.
